Protecting Student Privacy
The Terrebonne Parish School District (TPSD) is committed to protecting student data and continually enhancing its data security procedures. The district has implemented safeguards to protect student privacy as per FERPA, COPPA, CIPA, LA Act 837 and LA Act 677. Protecting students’ Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Education, LA Department of Education (LDOE,) and TPSD policies and procedures. Data sharing agreements may be viewed by eligible students, parents, and guardians upon request at the TPSD Central Office.

Questions and concerns related to student privacy and the sharing of students’ personally identifiable information can be submitted to triciacorbin@tpsd.org. Do not include any personal information related to the student in this initial request. Only include the following so arrangements can be made for secure communications.
- Parent/Guardian First and Last Name.
- Parent/Guardian Phone Number.
- Parent/Guardian Email Address.
- Brief reasoning for inquiry.
- Any other Question/Concern.
