We are now accepting nominations for STHS Teacher of the Year. Nominations may come from faculty, staff, administration, or parents. Please nominate a certified STHS teacher by Monday, October 28 using the TOY Nomination Form
The nominated teacher must:
- be certified
- have 3 – 5 full-time years of successful teaching for TPSD.
- demonstrate excellence and expertise in the field, guiding students of all backgrounds and abilities to achieve success.
- demonstrate leadership and innovation in and outside the school building walls, creating pathways for students to excel.
- build collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and families to create a school environment that is respectful, inclusive, and positively impacts student growth and learning.
- deliberately connect the classroom to the community to positively impact the students, school and community.
- be inspiring, compelling, and professional, and expresses themselves in an engaging and clear way, and has the ability to connect with and represent the state.
