GIRLS WHO CODE
Sponsor: Ashley Jefferson
Girls Who Code is a free program for 9th-12th grade students that provide a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world. Clubs can be held in-person or entirely online and typically meet after school., on weekends or during the summer. There are three pillars of our educational philosophy that make the GWC Club experience unique. GWC provides Clubs with free project-based curriculum and resources to support students with learning to code in a variety of languages and across a variety of interest areas. There are three main types of activities you'll do with your Club member, Learn to Code activities, Sisterhood Activities, and GWC Tech Spotlights.
