OES Robotics

The Oakshire Robotics Team was created in the fall of 2018 to allow selected fourth-sixth grade students compete in the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competitions.  Our team has competed in both regional and state competitions for robotics.  We have received several awards when representing Oakshire Elementary at both FIRST LEGO sanctioned competitions as well as the National World War II Museum's robotics competitions.  This year we will be fielding two teams for the 2023-2024 competition season:  OES BearBots and OES RoboCubs.  Team coaches are Mrs. Patty Authement and Ms. Mary Thibodaux.

Our first competition will be Dec. 9, 2023 at the Bayou STEM Coastal Qualifier at Fletcher Technical Community College.
